Mon-wed specials $15 and suuuuuper tasty and quick. We also ordered a size of chips - I’d go to this place for the chips so good!!! Cooked with passion the Italian way! A delicious food and an excellent customer service from waitress (Malou). This is a great improvement on the previous and outrageously overpriced Sicilian, where you got the distinct impression that repeat business was not welcomed. Two glasses of Shiraz were delivered as Chardonnay. Cooked with passion the Italian way! Service was exemplary: Highly recommended! However on walking past the long counter and the wine shelf divider, you'll find that the restaurant opens out into a surprisingly expansive dining room, with the look of a stately home.
Yum. Newly named, Cafe Giardino is a massive improvement on the previous incarnation, the Sicilian. missus asked for a $35 boscaiola and recieved pink chicken, and got a rude response from the chef when we asked the waiter about it, i ordered a pizza, was around $35 as well, shouldve gone accross the road and gotten one from dominoes as...theyre bigger cheaper and taste better.
dont go to this rubbish joint, been to the sicilian 3 times and never a good experience. We ordered mains and and a few of us had pasta. I have been to hundreds of restaurants and ordered spicy food: When asked by the staff how i would like my spicy dish: mild, medium or hot I have never been charged extra for asking for it hot. I had grilled barramundi in a butter sauce with herbs , capers and seasonal vegetables 5/5. Our wait staff were fun, bubbly but certainly new. for someone else. What a piece of luck ! Nothing but praise for...this restaurant. At first glance...the menu is a bit pricey but wow the serving sizes are very generous.
